Lovitha M. Whittington Shelton is a virtuous woman who is a crown to her husband (Proverbs 12:4).  Her head, her covering, her "rib-connection", her Priest, her "Man-of-God", and her leader is George R. Shelton IV who calls her blessed, who trusts her, and praises her (Proverbs 31:11, 28).

Lovitha was ordained an Evangelist in August 2006, and licensed as Minister in February 2009.  She currently ministers at The Holy Light Spiritual Tabernacle in Washington, D.C. under the leadership of Apostle Luis L. Ganaway and Pastor K. Denise Randall.  Lovitha is also a participant in From Hurt to Healed Ministries, and Traveling Sisters Ministry.  She is the founder of Rainbow Makers Ministries, which is an outreach ministry that ministers to battered women and children, ministers to homeless men, and re-organizes the family through the Word of God, and will provide emergency temporary housing for fire victims.  Lovitha is currently writing the vision of God’s plan for The Covenant Ministries: House of Prayer and PWW (Praise, Worship, & Word).  With her dear friend Dianthea Turner, Lovitha is the co-founder of Friends of Jesus Ministry.  One Saturday each month, Lovitha and Dianthea have ministered to and fed homeless men and women residing in shelters and on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland.  Also, she started The Ladies of the Covenant with 5 of her friends.  They pray and study together at weekend retreats.

 

Romans 12:1&2 are Lovitha’s favorite verses.  She believes that knowledge, understanding, and wisdom (in that order) of God’s Word can be used in every aspect of life.  Joshua 1:8 states, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” 

 

Lovitha steadfastly acknowledges that the ministry God has set before her continues to prompt her to go forward in God’s purpose and plan for her walk with Him.
